Is there's an easy way to enable specific lot selection when selling the stocks in TWS?
Currently, what I've done is:
1. TWS > Account > Account Management Home. It would open the IB account in a browser
2. Browswer > Report And Tax Doc > Tax > Launch Tax Optimizer. It would ask me to download a jnlp file EVERYTIME.
3. Click jnlp file to open Tax Optimizer. It would ask me again to confirm opening the file.
It works but just too many steps. Can I just configure the default account match settings to be lot specific all the time, and do the lot selection in TWS UI instead?
