It sounds better if you refer to it as a home based business rather than a job.You are right if I day trade. It is really like a day job.

That's your idea. We all have different ideas. Different aptitudes. Different "edges." Sometimes similar, but always different. The idea is that you can make money trading and not be stuck in front of your computer hours a day.
Since I am the only employee in this business, I have to fire myself: quit day trading. It sounds better if you refer to it as a home based business rather than a job.
That way you can always blame the trader, and as owner of the business you can replace him with a better one.![]()

You can blame your troubles on either management or labor, depending on which hat you're wearing at the time.Since I am the only employee in this business, I have to fire myself: quit day trading.![]()
Or you could put yourself on probation, have to explain every trade to the boss. Look over your own shoulder and keep asking, why the hell are you doing that. If you can't explain why then you should probably be fired.Since I am the only employee in this business, I have to fire myself: quit day trading.![]()
And sip a tall frosty or mixed drink concoction on some South Pacific beach huh?The idea is that you can make money trading and not be stuck in front of your computer hours a day.
While admiring his orange "Lambo," the one he can't help but keep mentioning. And sip a tall frosty or mixed drink concoction on some South Pacific beach huh?![]()
So you live off a pension or you received a huge settlement when your foot got stuck in an escalator? No. I quit my day job in 2010. Don't need any more money from trading now, it is just for fun.
I apologize in advance if this comes across as a little crass, but your question is simply meaningless.i got a friend, also a trader, mainly in CL futures. He is essentially profitable, but he has a handicap. He trades one trade a day and 3,6 out of 5 days they end up in winning days, as his statistics say. If he trades more then 1 trade a day, lets say 2 trades, his losing rate would be significantly higher as he is emotionally not free from the last trade and therefore unable to reset between the 2 trades which leads to doing bad analysis.
Do you know any techniques or trainings for him to emotionally reset after a trade? Mine would not help him.
