emolument crimes committed while in office need not apply rules SCOTUS

you don't think piezeo is getting paid to post?
I visit a number of comments sections and forums. Everywhere I go it's "Soros Soros Soros", "paid troll", etc. It's silly, everyone knows these posts are a false flag op. They're really Rebekah Mercer paying people to drop subtle clues that would lead one to think they're working for Soros, and discredit the left. I've said it before, the conspiracy (it's a conspiwacy!) is two levels deep!

What is your definition of a birther?
You moron....

And the idea of you calling anyone a public health policy expert... is the most comical statement I have read since Piezoe claimed he was a libertarian.
What did he claim he was a libertarian in a Stalinist sort of way.

So this birther idiot is now suddenly a COVID public health policy expert. LOL.

Ok, no, he's not being paid by Soros. I think that's a silly and lazy idea, not an argument at all. One would be better off keeping their mouth shut until they have the time and energy to counter with logic and critical thinking even so much as one premise.

You asked!
:D

The cases brought in this regard were not brought on charges of "ethics" violation or violation of statutory law, but on violation of Constitutional law, the highest law of the land, assuming you don't consider laws handed down by the almighty, such as 'thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife.' So far as I know, there are no statutes of limitation affecting Constitutional law, but we should ask our resident ET Lawyer, jem, for an opinion. [Sadly he is a good person, but a very bad lawyer.]

But the conviction in the Senate is not a criminal trial.. it is simply removal of office which already happened....unless the DOJ wants to use a Senate conviction as the basis for a criminal one which is not likely.

So again... if the penalty afforded the Senate is removal and he is no longer in office...well then...

That is the Constitutiuonal question... senate can only remove...
