The machine is in full operation. Lol. Jpower is spreading its tentacles and pulling all the cards at its disposal to spin a narrative. Perhaps Tesla cars are shit and everyone can put a few motors and identical batteries into a chassis and call it a car. Add some ai, which the Chinese are pretty good at these days and you got a Tesla replica. At a fraction of the cost. Not that hard to pull off in a regulatory environment where you don't need millions of driving hours to convince regulators to greenlight production. Not hard in a country where you can hand in a blueprint in Shenzhen at lunch time and get the first working prototype in the evening the same day.
I know nothing about that.
China reminds me of those ,,utopian" sci-fi societies from future, like in some Blade Runner, where everything should be perfect but basically one is just a - prisoner. Illusion of freedom.
Starting from the bottom with 1 child policy and ending up with assasinating billionaires. Tibet. Concentration camps. IP theft. List would be too long.

I have visited China, the big cities are like any other cities in the world. I see no issue living there other than the language barrier.
