I drive an AMG MERC. I love the Tesla. Test drove it and it is awesome. Gets the same range as my MERC. Im in making the switch and will be saving $500 per month in fossil fuel.
shouldn't we also add the battery wear to the driving costs ?
If you need a new batterie every 100.000km and the cost is 10.000 Dollar for one batterie package (currently its more like 20k) then the cost per 100km is 10 Euro.
By the way, Tesla is a great stock to trade.
The recovery after the first drop was very foreseeable because it was clear Musk would jump out and say how safe these cars are.
Now the next drop when people second think about what happens if they find one burning again ?
I hope the volatility remains in this stock.
Once the original leases runs out, the used Teslas will be sold below 40K I assume. There will be quite a big demand for them.
