ELON MUSK WARNS: A 'Tsunami Of Hurt' Is Coming For Anyone Betting Against Tesla

Hi Swan,

the trick is to make such things with a small size because its a hockey stick and it can go higher. It can go to 250 Dollar...
The only thing I know quite sure is that it will be a lot lower in 1 years. I sometimes hold these stocks quite some time.
I think 10 Dollar is a to small size to scale in, maybe something like 25 Doller. But always stay small, you never know.

Quote from Swan Noir:

Will you scale in if it goes higher. I agree that the stock is way, way beyond what any reasonable fundemental valuation could be. I no longer trade anything but futures but when I traded equities frequently saw overvalued stocks stay overvalued and even get more overvalued for much longer periods of time than I thought possible.

That said, I think taking a quarter sized short position and scalling in for another quarter every $10 up will prove to be a winning trade.

For me it is simply theoretical. You clearly are prepared to take the heat on these type of trades while I am not. I think you've picked a good candidate and a reasonable level to get in. But, as you say, it is a hockey stick and that handle is not predictable as long as it's still moving up.

I think that hybrid cars are the way to go still. Electric ones will never take off until the battery problems are fixed - only my view of course.

If Musk had a brain the size of his ego he would have realised that hybrid cars are the way to go still. Electric ones will never take off until the battery problems are fixed - only my view of course.

In the likely event of the typical ET uneducated response pointing to VW's obvious stupidity they are poised to overtake Toyota as the worlds largest producer.

Everything is about materials engineering, everything, and it's moving very fast. In a decade those driving an internal combustion powered personal vehicle will be paying a tax to so, a decade later they will be illegal.

The world today's 10 yr old experiences as an adult will look like a different planet.

Disclosure: we own two Teslas, a roadster and S coupe. We drive round trip from Los Angeles to San Diego, 250 mi. weekly with juice to spare.

the chassis does not seem to be shitty. Lab times at Nuerburg Ring are close to a 911 S.
That said, I am short Tesla since yesterday because its simply very overvalued.

Luck was on my side on this trade, taking profits for 1/2 the position at 18$ per share.

Musk can defend the company and justify the one off; that's his job, to keep the pig pumped. Time for the Tsunami to change direction :).

I drive an AMG MERC. I love the Tesla. Test drove it and it is awesome. Gets the same range as my MERC. Im in making the switch and will be saving $500 per month in fossil fuel.

DuPont registry just rated it as best daily driver.
Motor Trend rated it car of the year.
Safety tests rated it safest car tested.

Yes, the car is dependant on the battery .
I'm willing to chance it.
By the way, 0-60 in 4.2 seconds for a 4700 lb sedan is very good.
Some tests claim 0-60 in 3.9 secs.

Most of my driving is 0-60 and under 250 miles in a day.

So what's not to like.

Some people use aggressive language and show their ignorance of the facts at the same time.

Porche MERC, BMW, VW amongst others have all stated they are entering the EV markets.

I suppose you somehow know more than them.
