If you could go back to 1938 knowing what you know now, and you saw Hitler cruising down the boulevard in his convertible waving at the crowds, would you put a bullet in his head? I think most people would.

There's a big difference. He's one person, and he's running for President. When you have 5 major media outlets whose anchors constantly compare him to Hitler... that's ridiculous. You don't think something like that inspires crazies?

Trump came from the entertainment business (he once had a TV show). He used the media against many American citizens. He knows the game very well.

My point, media outlets are just vessels of America's bullshit and to pretend Trump is innocent in sowing the seeds of hatred in America is very disingenuous.

I know what Trump has said and done. His actions as a civilian and political candidate are unforgivable just as it is unforgivable about the actions of those who have tried to assassinate him.

I've lived in many different countries and experienced many different political parties. America is at a very dangerous crossroads. Social media is much more dangerous than news media outlets (e.g. CNN, FoxNews).

With that said, to answer your hypothetical question and your continuation of it with the "handcuff" comment...

I would have sent an elite Airborne paratrooper unit to the Front in early 1945 to intercept Hitler's well-guarded motorcade of a very visible line of Mercedez limousines. Allies were unlucky to have never bombed the motorcade on the roads that Hitler frequently traveled when visiting the Front...

Roads that were often bombed but never lucky enough at a time when Hitler used the roads for travel between Berlin and the Front.

Also, it was a time when Hitler traveled with many doctors as part of his motorcade who were treating Hitler for physical and mental illness and a time when there were German Allied spies in nearby towns the motorcade traveled.

Intercept Hitler when he was on his way to the Front or on his way back to Berlin for the purpose to kidnap (capture) Hitler with some of his top military aides.​

There would be too many civilian casualties but if the Jewish people wanted punishment by using the gas burner on Hitler had he been captured/kidnapped/convicted of crimes against Humanity...

I suspect the judges at the Nuremberg trials may have agreed to it instead of shooting or hanging him.
