Elon Musk has terminated his agreement to purchase Twitter for $44 billion.

Plus they just cancelled Jordan Peterson and Dave Rubin for commenting on Jordan Peterson. Ben Shapiro has barely stayed on by commenting on Peterson more cleverly than Rubin. Musk probably figured it the last straw given they know what his wishes are since the last all hands on zoom meeting he had with the company . Maybe he figures it's a lost cause, and would be better off duplicating Weibo, something he's mentioned before. Apparently it will cost him 1 billion, a fair fine for toying with Depp's wife.
You know that a place isn't a good place to stay, when they cancel folk like J.Peterson.
Man has a bright-million(s) sized community following him. So all that there's left for TWTR is bots and fools.

Starting at 13:15 H.A. Goodman does another excellent job explaining just why Twitter is worse than a complete waste of time, and why he stopped using it in 2018.

Kimmel used to have a funny thing he would do with celebrities called "Mean Tweets". Now celebrities are being banned for saying things less mean than any of those tweets ever were toward them.

Now Twitter's share price is 36% lower than the level at which Elon Musk was guided when discussing the deal ($54.20 per share). The billionaire had managed to buy a large block of shares in the company by April, preparing for the deal, but now it is not quite clear what he will do about these assets. It is possible that all the steps Musk is taking are aimed at reducing Twitter's capitalization in order to buy the company at a lower price against the original $44 billion. The legal proceedings may lead the parties to this outcome as well, which the rebellious buyer himself may not be unaware of.

Special thanks to Opening Arguments podcast for breaking all this down and doing deep dives on the contract. If you want to see how bad this dumpster fire was, I strongly encourage you catch up on the episodes:

LOL wingnuts were all excited "Free Speech, except about him" Musk was buying Twitter.

Now it's flipped to look at the price of Twitter .........as Wall Street prices in takeover not happening.

The street doesn't give a fack who gets banned from the platform. Money, money is all they care about.
