You guys are brutal, really overflowing with sympathy. We wouldn't let some shady deceptive cartel of businesses lie and mislead large groups of young people and saddle them with enormous debt that is not dischargeable even in bankruptcy. Somehow though, we not only allow the university cartel to do that, we front them the financing that makes their excess even possible. They are a cartel selling access to the upper middle class. Unfortunately, a large number of their grads are qualified for barista and uber duty only. Naturally they are pissed. No one told them that resentment studies would not be a great major.

Yup. Nothing signals a commitment to pay off your debts like preparing to move to Panama.
She should have gone into a field which paid more monies like computer science, engineering, mathematics. Instead, she chose Criminal Justice which is what? What jobs fall in that category? Being a police woman? Now, she said she is not going to risk her life. That if fine but, she wasted her $90,000 in loans!
WTF does she expect to gain/do in Panama if she cannot get a job that pays well in the U.S. with her degree. Salaries in Panama are way lower than in the U.S. but the cost of living has been steadily increasing. SOmeone needs to take the reality stick and smack the dumb out of her.
Apparently Elizabeth Warren actually did learn a lot about economics and personal finance on the reservation where she went to school.
