Elizabeth, the Democrat Front Runner, Is a Liar

There really are two very distinct approaches to handling urban policing. One is the Rudy Guliani zero tolerance, aggressive stop and frisk, prosecute quality of life crimes approach. It lead to NYC going from being among the most dangerous to among the safest of big cities.

The other is typified by the DiBlasio approach of minimizing police interaction and confrontations with residents and extreme tolerance for low level violations. It leads to this:

Yeah seen the videos. The cops had every cause to arrest, they were just taking it to be dramatic martyrs.

"Brown’s body remained bloodied the street for four hours in the summer heat. People in the neighbourhood later lash out at police, saying they mistreated the body. "

That was a serious error of judgement by the police? Leaving the corpse of a reasonably well know person, a kid to them & just 18, to become a spectacle in the poor neighbourhood.

Do you know why it wasn't removed for such a long time?

Because of prior cases of unrest and lawsuits, requiring ridiculously long crime scene investigations to CYA regarding the thoroughness of the investigation.

Call it unintended consequences of the misfits making up false narratives.

Wow. One realised of course that most of this back and fourth is due to morbid curiosity on what spin can be put on things but..

Assuming you mean the false narratives of the police planting evidence and "getting their stories straight". They only just had to stop the cops publishing a false-narrative photo of a gun found in the home of the woman who was shot through the window.

Regardless the police brought on that riot in Ferguson through in large part leaving the two headshots with brains hanging body of a son, nephew, cousin and friend to many without a forensics tent or any visual cordon and having the officer who shot him walking about, not sitting in a van or car out of sight of the pubic. Ferguson brought some changes to procedures I'm sure.

Once the body cameras came in we got to see people shot being left to bleed out completely unattended for "procedural reasons". You could lay some blame on the cameras making officers afraid to break procedure which certainly seems to be a dead body is cheaper, so let him die, to the lay person.

Anyway, hopefully you now think a little more about what caused people to riot in 2014.

So now you excuse rioting. The fact is, they riot whenever they get a chance. Power goes out, they riot. Hurricane, they riot. Some thug gets shot, they riot.

They don't even need an excuse any more. https://www.fox29.com/news/police-large-group-of-juveniles-disrupt-traffic-in-northeast-philly
