Maybe many posters don't want to give up their anonymity. Take it away and they will share much less information, or maybe even leave ET. In anonymity people tend to be more open because they feel more save.
I gave more information about myself, but only to those that I choose. All the rest does not have to know more then I want to share.
I wrote"maybe" because in the US it is possible to make huge financial claims about anything, so even about the word "definitely".

The next question will be: is the given information correct? Anybody can write anything. Remember, this is internet.
So next step will be an official document stating that the information is correct..... If not all information is worthless. Which leads to the question: why make it publiv then?
I think all this hidden information is not relevant. So why make it public?.

That is not waterproof. I am already on ET since 2004, but under different nicknames. So my registration as "i am nobody" which is dated november 2013, is not correct for me as a physical person.
You can have like's because:
- you write interesting postings
- you are humoristic
- you are really stupid
- you attack somebody that most posters don't like
- .....

It's just you click on name then just click on post count to see all posts belong to that person.
