You said it yourself, you're a white man who votes for a white man. that's the supreme and overriding logic to any other argument. Nothing logical can win you over, since basically the overriding factor is ethnic and exclusive.

I don't disagree with a lot of what you say, in fact I agree with you probably 3/4 of the time. Obviously race plays a factor in life. Obama's supporters continue to argue that he could lose because he is black, I would argue just the opposite, he will win because he is black. If a white person came out with the same views we would fairly quickly call him out as the whack job that he is. That, however, is not the case. A lot of white's are going to go into the booth and vote for the Obama for exactly the same reason the majority of people buy an ugly ass Toyota Prius (It "says something about me as a person). Also your going to have African-American's turning out in numbers never before seen, and 90% + of them are going to vote for Obama, I think they will be the deciding factor in this election.
My point is not that the majority of your beliefs are wrong, like I said we find ourselves in agreement a lot of times. I just think that you should leave the racial bits out of it, because even if someone does agree with you they are going to find it hard to say so, fearful of being called a racist, which is obviously the most horrible thing in the world that you could be.

You don't get it. Liberals love to parade California and New York around as examples of rich, white folk voting Dem. Why do they ALWAYS compare those states to the South? In your view isn't the Left taking a shot at Alabama as being some Jim Crow, anti-intellectual bastion of GOPism? And in turn saying California is smarter and more enlightened than the "backwoods" South? Hence is it not proper for me to remind folks that the MAJORITY of white males in those "blue states" vote the EXACT same way as the majority of white males in South Carolina? California's wealthiest county is Orange. It will supply McCain with more votes than any other county in America.

What we CANNOT allow though Brandon is fear of stigma-and you're smart enough to know that tool is being effectively used by the Left-to inhibit honesty and clinical detachment towards sociology, political science and economics. It's the ABSENCE of free speech and discussion causing these problems. The truth hurts but the death of freedom hurts way more.....

The political market is no different than the stock market. Anticipating their movements requires a deep understanding of the dynamics that incentivize their participants to react. Stock market with buy/ sell orders. Political market with a ballot and a vote.

Not only do I think McCain will lose Dave but IMO badly. The irony though is one of the percieved "nagatives" of his campaign will be his greatest legacy. Sarah Palin will be elected President in 2012....
