Eligibility for posting product reviews

the moderator should impose requirement for one to be able to write product review, such as broker or software review. the requirement can be the number of post or the registration length. hopefully this will keep some spammers away. also one should not be able to post more than one review for certian time period, say one day.

I'm taking care of it right now, the current requirement in place is 30 posts.

can we do this minimum also to prevent new aliases from starting new threads and/or from including URL links, as that seems to define a lot of the drive-by spammers?

(or is that not part of the available functionality)?
 
Not going to happen, too many people come here with the intent to ask a question. Banning them from that ability would discourage new users.
