Quote from Mike805:
So there you go; find a coil with zero resistance and you have your solution.
Quote from William Rennick:
A flux capacitor is all that is needed. Problem is that it hasn't been invented yet. Once I get the transparant aluminum patented, I'll work on the FC.
FYI, investment tip; Watch for news on the super collider in Cern. Once they isolate the dark matter they can begin development of a crude warp drive.

i know the coil on the pole from com ed is a canister of oil,so is the one in older cars, maybe they can drop a humungous canister into the gulf, spin some magnets around it ,power up a massive welder and melt enough lead too plug that holeQuote from omegapoint:
Refreshing open-minded comments. My bro-in-law seems to have "issues" unrelated to the possibilities inherent in the question, he just recites how induction works in the most authoritative way w/o addressing why magnet orbiting magnet couldn't work. "Its always been done this way" doesn't refute the possibility of another possible method. I forget ...Popper maybe?
How to transfer the current to a conductor is a problem? And,
where could the force be transferred to if not a coil? Seems like
a design obstacle that could be played with.
