Huge week for me. Surreal PNL. 28% on capital from the 21st to today. I don't want to give it back, but I am WILDLY bullish for the start of the week.

you called it, chance of this being a dead cat bounce? This shit's hard with a day job....couldn't figure out why the sudden jump in the afternoon (until I read the fed news just a few mins ago). Was up 700$ on shorts in the morning....ended up +$20.

hey, a 20$'s a $20. All the positions I dumped early Monday prolly made most of it back after hours.

Dont feel so bad, I sold short positions on monday and tues only to see them skyrocket every single minute from the time I sold right into friday, many many many dollars missed out on......and all my oil shorts I lost immense amounts of money by getting out a few weeks back....
I still hold short etfs but started buying long this week. Plan on selling everything if there is a rally early next week.

I may be talking out of my ass, I haven't done the math of having held onto longs vs having exited relatively late (Monday pre-market) and staying neutral today. I just saw a bunch of my previous longs jump up 3% after hours which is why I surmised I fucked up. I'll do it tomorrow & see if it was wise.

If anything, I'm getting a sense of who the better traders on here are & have another "data point" to back up gut feeling. I already get that unease when seeing tops....not so much for bottoms yet.

One thing's become quite clear....you can't expect to be an investor & expect to have the timing of a trader.....I think that's a losing game every single time. Or maybe my greed just overcomes my reason.
