Those poor band teachers and cops in upper-income areas....maybe they won't be able to retire at 50 and double-dip with a second state job. Someone pass me a Kleenex.

Meanwhile, those who actually worked hard and busted their tails are supposed to support all the lazy public "servants" and gov't largesse junkies. No wonder so many of them move to other states.

if you think that it's applies to CA only-you wrong.i'm in Pa and having exact same observations. one cop is living in community,where homes starts at 800K,another-single house in park area. probably 500K+
hey..what the heck-my next door buddy is also cop-just did renovation of first floor in his townhouse that cost him "only" 85K! and he working in police for a less than 4 years...
same s**t with teachers in our area..average salary 100K+

i mean..common..explain to me,WTF is school administrator does,that his salary is 150K? for a 150K i would think of some complex shit like database administrator in some huge big ass profitable company that would probably required top notch education in the field + experience. a f**g architect, like in matrix or something..but school administrator? I would like to see someone apply the figures to what party was in control of the legislative branch where the policies of regulation, tax and spend are made. I have no doubt the result would be quite the reverse.

But I shouldn't expect the propaganda media (or the liberals here) to report anything that doesn't promote their Communist agenda.

Anyway, under Bush, it was six years when he had control of both houses. Only in the last two years did the House go Dem; don't remember what happened in the Senate. So Bush, anyway, had no such excuse.
Hoover either, I'm sure. The country was solidly Republican back then; the only two Dem presidents between the end of the Civil War and FDR were Cleveland and Wilson. The Depression changed that.

There is no creditable 3rd party in the US. You are stuck with the Dems or Reps. The other 25 parties are not in with a chance. For one thing they will never raise anywhere near the money ( for PR and bribes ) that the other 2 have. So noone has heard of them.

My suggestion is start a 3rd party with a whacky name and policies. It will always be a way to tell the big 2 that they suck !

howbout the "Humpy Party" run by some crackpot from England. That should get some attention.

Now if it was up to me, I would just look around for the two most beautifiul women in the world, and run one of them for president and the other one for vice president

and any time someone came up with an issue, I would just promote the jealousy between the two.

Not sure my party would win, but we could probably have a pretty successful tv show.
