He needs to get 218 on the floor and congressmen like Matt Gaetz said they won't vote for him.
The other day I predicted 220-115 GOP. Right now CNN has 11 uncalled races and have it currently at 217-207. I think ME-2, AK, OR-6, and CO-8 will still go to the Democrats while CO-3 will go to Bobo. In fact OR-6 and CO-8 have already been called for Democrats on NBC. ME-2 and AK are ranked choice, but the two Democrats are leading by wide margins. In CA, 2 incumbent Republicans are in the lead and 2 incumbent Democrats are in the lead. I would make them the favorites. There are 2 other districts, one with a Democrat in the lead, the other with a Republican in the lead. If this holds it will be 221-214 GOP, allowing McCarthy just 3 defections in support for the speakership.
