Yeah... they've also had guns since the Civil War, but there weren't mass shootings every week were there? The point is, times have changed. Morals have changed. Access to instant information has changed. Your argument that people have voted by mail since the Civil War is stupid. How many mail in ballots were there for Roosevelt? Eisenhower? Kennedy, Nixon... Times change, cultures change, and this country is bitterly divided. Its pretty obvious people have no qualms about taking things into their own hands when in their little minds they think it's ok.

And wtf lol.. you can't "cross two major highways?"
McDonalds is 15 minutes from me and I cross a half dozen major roads to get there... but that didn't stop me from getting a cup of coffee and a biscuit this morning. What is wrong with you?

What is wrong with mail in voting though since we still want to count a ballot and we are not at the stage were people can vote from home. there is no law that requires people to vote in person and the comment about mail in votes since the Civil War proves it was accepted by our Constitution and is a viable method to vote as long as safeguards are in place.

People in college mail in vote because they are in another state....
MIlitary votes by mail in because they are stationed in a different location than where they are registered...
Elderly vote by mail since they want to avoid standing in long lines...
Handicapped or disabled may not be able to access a voting station or be able to get out...
Some people plan trips or have business that will take them away from home... shit happens...

things have changed but mail in voting is something that has been around for valid reasons unless you want college kids and military to have their constitutional rights stripped simply because of geography? Are you going door to door to make sure everyone is physically able to leave their house?

I'm surprised she's going to win. The right-leaning billionaire Democrat Rick Caruso had the big celebrity endorsements like Snoop Dogg and Katy Perry. I don't know what he would have done, but he talked about building housing for the massive homeless population much cheaper than the $800k/unit they're doing it at. He also promoted himself as being tougher on crime. Karen Bass has been a politician since 2004 and I'm not quite sure she's ever done anything. LA is a mess with a massive homeless population. Skid Row is known as perhaps the largest "tent city" in the country.

Lol. You’re losing it.

First, not everyone is capable of driving. Think of the elderly and the disabled and the poor. All of whom have the right to vote. Voting should be easy for everyone and people should have choices in how they cast their vote.

Second, you make the argument yourself that things change. We don’t have to vote like people did a hundred years ago. Besides those elections you cited were rife with intimidation, disenfranchisement and all kinds of illegal activity.

If you’re worried about election integrity you shouldn’t be pointing to elections prior to the 1980s.
