Those are the people I'm talking about.

We want things fixed. We want to help fix them. We want an inspirational leader to help us fix them. Someone who doesn't fly by the seat of his pants, but who listens to others and makes a pragmatic decision.

I care about low taxes (a flat tax,) health care for the entire country (get rid of the insurance companies,) and only going to war when we have to. The days of voting based on controlling someone else's life are over. Do what you want at home, but in the public sector, help rebuild our country.

I can't believe that we're 39th in health care, but have the most expensive system, yet people are afraid to reform the system! Why should 38 other countries have better health care than the biggest economic power?

In terms of the stock market -- Enough rules to curb unrestricted corruption and mismanagement.

Ron Paul came to a meeting out here and he said that he only ran as Republican because he'd thought he'd have more of a base in that party. He realized he was wrong, but there was no turning back.

He turned to a guy with an Obama button on and said, I may end up voting for him if I'm not on the ballot. When someone asked him why. He said we need movement. He believes we need fundamental change, so don't be so fast to divide everyone into the liberal and conservative camp.

It's quickly becoming the camp of those who want to make something of the country before it's too late and those who are afraid to tackle the big issues. Some solutions may fail, but the days of doing nothing are over.

It takes a special kind of turd to capitalize upon an ignorant and/or unthinking public with a bunch of propagandized baloney served up to suit the fears of an already powerless people. And evidently, Obunga is just that kind of turd. I stand here in Cleveland in complete and utter stupification over the idiocy I am witnessing. And it's funny, (as in funny peculiar) but I did think about the "New Deal" earlier this morning...and we're screwed, because these obunganites are largely unaware or ignorant of history and the historical perspective as it relates to the U.S. and what has worked in the past and what hasn't. Most don't see to care and perhaps that is some indication of the presence of anomie or nihilism. Hard to say since I'm a generation removed from most of these obunganites. Seems to me that they only see one old dude being followed by another old dude who they think is the same guy. And of course the dems encourage this line of thought since it suits their purpose. Much as republicans hated Bill Clinton, my guess is he's looking pretty good next to this actual socialist left wing U. S. hating Muslim terrorist running schmuck in the polls right now. Here in Cleveland(visiting friends), it is common place for the blacks to resort to physical intimidation tactics on a daily basis at least in downtown Cleveland and at times here in lakewood also.

all i can say is that I am very saddened by the moronic behavior I see being exhibited in this election. and a scared shitless about what it might mean for our country now on. Rock on McCain!!!!!

That line is the definition of what Republicans did to the country over the last eight years. They even manufactered a war to keep people's eyes off the ball. I'm afraid that the new Republican party that's emerging won't be the one you'll affiliate yourself with. They're already planning to stop the "propagandized baloney" they've served up and concentrate on solutions.

actually, it is more likely that all those shorting obama rally will have to cover tomorrow in a hurry. and it could get really ugly for the stubborn.

I'm having an amazing day. I think the market - which already knows who's going to win - likes what it sees, at least for now. I can just imagine what this thread would look like if we were having a down day today.

If McCain wins, the stock market will tank over the next few months as worry builds about Palin and McCain's bad judgement when it comes to the complex problems we're facing.
