People close to McCain say he is the candidate with the worst temperament to be President. The Republicans actually nominated the candidate who may have had the most experience, but didn't have the mental fortitude to hold the office.

His campaign proved those who knew McCain were right.

That's why the only Republicans who are left voting for McCain are basically the ones who don't follow politics closely enough to judge this man. Most Republicans who vote with their heads are voting Obama. You can look up that list, but rest assured, it's long.

Republicans who vote with their heads know we have some big problems in this country and that we need a man who can rebrand America and who has the temperament, patience, and willingness to listen to all ideas before implementing a plan.

Though McCain could have convinced me and others that maybe his unstableness could be controlled, he blew it on the quality of judgement by picking Palin.
 
You have to be pretty dense to think none of this market action is due to the likelyhood of Obama getting elected. But like the second post in this thread pointed out, a relief rally is underway. The BIG question now is how much of a "mandate" do the Dems have? And get ready to hear that phrase ad nauseam in the coming weeks.

Everyone assumes that since the Repubs have fucked things up, electing a Dem is the cure. If only it were that simple. :D
 
90% of Blacks will vote Obama. A few polls are showing 75-78% of Mexicans will vote Obama. A majority of white women will favor Obama.

A SOLID PLURALITY of working/investing/backbone of America, i.e. tax paying WHITE MALES will vote for McCain.

Of course leftists assholes like yourself will make the case that white guys are idiots but that Blacks, Mexicans and women are MENSA QUALITY electors. LMFAO.....

Great point, Arnie.

It's not simple. It's going to be really complicated and gridlock isn't going to cut it this time.

I'm hoping the Dems get a super majority and I won't vote Republican again until I see our country actually trying to fix things. At the very least I want to see an attempt to fix things. Infrastructure, new jobs, education, health insurance.

For God's sake, let's make some decisions and try out some alternatives before we end up a country with no middle class. Just uneducated dummies looking for work. We tried gridlock and redistributing the wealth to the rich. It didn't work!

At the very least. Take the money we're spending in Iraq and spend it here!

I am not a leftist. I'm a Republican and, you sir, are a small minded bigot. You are what the current incarnation of the Republicans has recruited into the party. Over the next twenty years, that effort will stop and the bigots will have to turn somewhere else.

I do not believe that people who vote for McCain are idiots. I just think that they're afraid of real change.

The backbone of American is the middle class, increasingly made up of non-Caucasians. Get used to it. They're part of the backbone of America. They work as hard as you do.

Obama is a transformationaly figure. Like Reagan, like FDR, like Teddy Roosevelt. If he wins, let's see where he takes us. BTW, he's asked for help. Our help. If you want to sit on the sidelines and whine about the make-up of our country, then you're not helping.

Also, Hispanics are voting at around 50 percent for each candidate, so you might want to check your facts. And the final tracking polls show that Obama might get close to fifty percent of the overall white vote. Don't underestimate our race, sir. They voted over fifty percent for a black governor in Virginia.
 
I voted/supported/worked for a black guy (Alan Keyes) who ran against Obama.

My opposition to Obama is not racial. If Obama held out Reagan principals I'd have a "Change" sign on my yard.

But when people like you-in your post-insinuate that conservatives are supporting Obama I can't let it pass without comment. You're wrong.

And while liberals like to accuse thinkers of being bigots I'll repeat; The black/brown/white female demographic in America favors SOCIALISTIC government policies that will BURY America. Period.

At the moment everything is going up cos of the hope (well guaranteed) that who ever gets in will be better than george bush!!

So the rallies isnt cos someone new coming in, we rallying just cos we getting bush out finally!! LOL


But when obama gets confirmed then the worries will come in if he can really save the world, and with worried comes short selling an falling prices... :D
