Regardless of what West runs as,it does not change the fact the millions of progs,minorities,climate voters etc that voted for Biden in 2020 will not be voting for him in 2024.Doesn't matter if we vote West,Green,GOP or stay home,the results are the same,Biden gets crushed in next years election.

As I outlined on the other RFK Jr. thread -- Republicans would actually vote for RFK Jr. as an independent candidate.

This is why you will see Trump and the GOP come out and attack RFK Jr. over the upcoming weeks. Because RFK Jr. will be taking votes away from Trump and not from Biden in the general election.

RFK Jr. offers all the anti-vax and conspiracy theory nonsense beloved by the MAGA crowd. When he was running as a Democrat he was funded by MAGA Trump backers with the focus of undermining Biden. Now that he is an independent, RFK Jr. is a threat because he will strip votes from Trump (or the Republican candidate) in a general election rather than Biden. Since the election is likely to be close --- any small amount of votes stripped from either party in a battleground state can have a large impact.
