Trump Is Now Openly Threatening CEOs Who Don’t Support Him
Tree...!Well, Joe was out there performing today too.
Although he got lost standing in a field. Hey. standing in a field is complicated.
On a more serious note, yes, Trump can fire on several cylinders on several topics with big boy types. That is the secret to understanding his affinity for Doug Burgum. Burgum is the only one of the openly discussed vp possibilities who has that same quality. None of the others do. I mean the ability to stand up as an equal to both private and public sector leaders. Burgum is a successful governor, former successful software venture guy, former VP of Microsoft, etc. (would love to see him debate Kamala the AI Czar). Both Trump and Burgum are on the prowl for information too and are asking questions that fit in with the things they are working on which is always well received by others.
Not saying that will make Burgum VP but it will put him in Trump's immediate circle of influencers. People say Energy Secretary. Yeh, at a minimum. I think he wants him in more of a general advisor role too. Chief of staff, whatever.
WATCH: Italian PM Corrals Biden After He Wanders Off at Summit

So today Trump had a round-table discussion with dozens of CEO's. Jamie Dimon, Tim Cook, Moynihan, the lady from Citigroup... just to name the "stars" of the show. Apparently there were many more.
So ignoring his message regarding what he plans to do... tax cuts, tariffs, blah blah blah, whatever; here's an honest question.
He went head to head with these people. No note-cards, no teleprompters, just head to head. Now it's probably safe to assume a large percentage of those in attendance hate him. Safe bet to say the least. But he was there, and he fielded the questions as they came at him. I'm sure he had no idea what those questions would be. But again, he was there and even though many might not have liked his answers, he wasn't using cheat sheets and no way were the attendee's buttered up to only ask "nice" questions. He threw himself into hostile fire.
My question... could Joe have done this? An unscripted head to head with some of the brightest minds in America? My guess is no. And you know some of those questions had to be real doozies. I have no opinion on what he said he'd do, that's not the point of my post...I'm simply saying, I don't think Joe could have handled a forum like this. His people would have kept him out at all costs. But I could be wrong. Opinions?
I'd like to see them do a memory test series of questions at the debate. Ask Trump who his project manager was on some random building in the 1980's and see if he gets it right. Then ask Joe who co-sponsored some random bill with him in the 1980's (or something to that effect) and see if he gets it right.Joe Biden doesn't know where he is 90% of the time and more so, what heroic exploits he is going to claim when he does speak. Extreme liberal media will never allow him to be asked any hard questions because they know his answers would be very bizarre out of left field. James Carville is claiming that President Donald Trump will not appear in the debates. He is getting senile. President Donald Trump easily trashed Joe Biden the last time they debated. Of course, the biased moderators only gave Joe Biden the softest questions. All the hard questions where reserved for Donald Trump.
