I see some of the predictable low-testosterone members fake republicans- e.g. Larry Hogan- out there saying "we should all respect the court decision."
NO WE SHOULD NOT.
All Americans should reject elements of a court decision that we fought a seven year war of independence to eliminate. The colonists knew full well what it was like to be under British rule where you were called into court and had to bear with them for weeks as they rolled your around to try to find charges and told you that they would let you know what the charges were when they figured that out themselves. And King had "star chambers" back in Britain that were basically just little clubs had unlimited authority to roll you around until they found something that the King wanted to have done. The Brits loved that stuff. Americans did not. That is what makes us American for crisesake.
We definitely should have respect for the rule. But requires rejecting actions that are contrary to it.
Hunter Biden is a scumbag and I wish him the worst. Nevertheless he is in court now and is absolutely entitled to know what the charges are against him so that he can defend himself. And not be required to show up in court and the goddam judge charges the jury with figuring out what the second required underlying crime is and, oh by the way, the defendant may never find out what it is and the jurors may not all agree on what it is.
Refer to the Framers for more on this.
