as if if it matters. Abortion will never be made illegal in NY State. A non issue. 28 electoral college votes for Joe.
With Ohio and Florida in the bag Trump only needs 2 or 3 of the states below to win The EC,so Joe can have NY.

*The above numbers are with no 3rd party candidates included. When 3rd party candidates are included Trumps lead is bigger in the above states.

as if if it matters.

Its does matter as New York is moving away from Democrats.Obama won New York by 28 points,Bidens lead is currently 9.

Coumo won The Governors race by 23,Hochul won it by 6.More and more NY House districts are turning red.New York could cause Democrats to lose The House in November.

The Haley protest vote is proving to be pretty durable. If it is actual Haley supporters Trump HAS to wrap up her endorsement at some time. If it’s general protest against Trump this is a real problem for him.

It is rather hard to tell which it is. No polling is showing this split in republican voters. Trump usually locks down high 90s support among republican voters in matchup polling against Biden. But the voters that participate in primary elections are high propensity voters. So, theoretically , they should be showing up in likely voter models but nope.

Food for thought. Polling remains wacky this cycle.

Meet your new GOP V.P. candidate, Nikki Haley. Just keep in mind the price for admission.

Trump insiders say Nikki Haley being considered for VP — if she pays his legal fees

Donald Trump’s campaign is considering offering the role of vice president to his most long-standing campaign rival, Axios reported Saturday.

Nikki Haley is under “active consideration” for the position, according to unnamed insiders in the former president’s camp.

Axios said Trump’s decision hinges on whether Trump believes Haley — whom he called "Birdbrain" throughout the fight to become the GOP's presidential nominee — can help him avoid a prison sentence and cover millions of dollars in debt racked up by legal bills if he loses the election.

Haley, however, has publicly stated she won’t endorse Trump and her supporters continue to vote for her against him in primary elections, despite her ending her own campaign in March.

In Indiana last week, Haley won more than 20% of the vote.

“Republicans close to both campaigns believe it's in Haley and Trump's mutual interests to reconcile, despite their bitter fight in the GOP primary and their divergent views on some big issues,” Axios reported, citing the insiders.

Haley has deep ties to donors who are not supportive of Trump, the report states. By linking up with her, he would also hope to win over the many Republicans who continue to support her.

President Joe Biden’s campaign has actively worked to try to win many of those voters over to his camp.

Axios' report says Haley hasn't endorsed Trump, and if she continues to withhold her support and Trump loses in November, significant parts of the GOP's conservative base could blame her.

“That likely would threaten any future presidential campaign or future in GOP politics for her,” Axios reported.

Spokespeople for both campaigns declined to comment to Axios.
