I mean this is the middle east. That will just take you to new problems but it is a time for at least a change of problems there in Gaza. Unfortunately there is a high civilian cost.

Frigging Jordan, for example, is next door to Gaza, and even has more Palestinians than Gaza. Yet they will not take a single Palestinian refugee. And I don't blame them. They don't want all the Iranian influence that comes with it. But you see what I am sayin.' The Hamas thing is toxic for Gaza's relationship with Israel, but it has also been toxic for a relationship with fellow muslims and Palestinians.

Not to get into the weeds with all of this this land is your land this land is my land stuff but the people who call themselves Palestinians are actually Jordanian, and something like 60% of the Arabs in the disputed lands aren’t even historically from that land.

So yeah, it’s way beyond an occupier/native situation. It’s actually a religious zealots vs western style Judaism scenario.

And I agree we look like we are heading to some pan-Arab peace keeping force which is scary to even think of considering the Sunni-Shiite intra-Islamic conflict. Throw in a bunch of UN money and guns and yeah we have a whole new set of problems.

Anyway, Hamas has to go.

Yeh well, there is a lot to unpack in the various your land is my land debates.

We hear a lot about the jewish people being colonial occupiers from Europe and that Palestine was just given as a give to jews because some people did something to somebody in Europe as Ilhan Omar would say.

Excuse but the jewish tribes of Israel go back thousands of year before newcomer Allah came along. and then the First and Second Temple periods and all of that. What has gotten lost a bit even just in our lifetimes is that Jerusalem/Judea/Palestine etc used to - even just a few decades ago used to known as the homeland for Christians too. DUH! You would think that no other groups other than muslims and the "newcomer" jews. Hello. Where does the homeland for Christians end out in this "river to the sea" land grab. (yes some of the jews are the Ashkenazi newcomers from the diaspora but that is not true of the Sephardic indigenous, long before Allah came along. do a title search on their property and see how far that goes back compared to Allah's boys there).

Also, the Romans were well established occupiers in that region long before Allah came along. Just sayin, maybe Italy has some claims if we want to revert back to some hypothetical period in time as appears to be the goal for some.

The first poll I discounted and didn't post yesterday because it came from Alsobrooks campaign but a 2nd poll from Emerson released today mirrored the results.

Democrats would be seriously fucked if Republicans could poach a Senate seat from a dark blue state like Maryland.
