I wish I could say this is surprising, but I can't. What is surprising is that the democrats are either OK with their ship running full throttle towards the iceberg OR they have a last minute "siwtcheroo" or something planned. I can't believe they're this stupid to just support Biden into a total loss.

So they have to have something planned. The question is, what?

Do they replace Biden last minute in some circus act?
Do they rely on Trump not being able to win through legal means?
If that actually works, and Trump is removed, CAN the GOP legally put someone else forward without a primary?

If there are enough second tier candidates grabbing 3-4% of the vote he will cakewalk to the nomination.

Nicki Haley can grab some votes, Pompeo too. We know DeSantis is the preferred candidate of the right wing media. Throw in Larry Hogan, Asa Hutchinson and couple of senators and presto- Trump is the nominee. And of the bunch Trump is the biggest loser.

i just ask myself what would be funnier:

biden winning with maybe 30 million more votes than stinky.

or maybe biden winning without a popular majority - because that would make stinky's orange head explode.

Biden is going to try to thread the needle later today at the state of the union address: ie. pretending to be the great uniter, while demonizing half of America. He is too stupid to do it. It will get dark in places.

On the plus side for Joe, he has done nothing this week other than prepare for his speech and expectations are very low. If he can get through it without any major flub, dems will declare him to be an action figure in full control.

Such is the state of affairs in this country.

Also, watch out for eruptions in the gallery from gaza protesters. The progressive snakes will have invited more snakes to attend.
