Speaking of Haley, y'all will recall that a couple days ago that he has issues with her loyalty. As an alpha male responsible for protecting the pack by being the earliest to spot those that could have or might go off the reservation, she makes him nervous in regard to the VP thing- aside from the fact that the core maga's do not want her. Going to get ugly as Trump goes full scorched earth and she fires back. Won't be able to put that back together enough for VP unless she goes all the way back by going full flaccid like Tim Scott and Vivek and outright telling Trump she loves him. I don't see that happening. She might go to the "I will choose Trump over Joe Biden any day" level. But that is not love and loyalty. And loyalty is number one for Trumpski.

Some lefties think Haley may go full Liz Cheney on Trump on the way out. Not sure about that but if she is even remotely thinking about NoLabels - which she says she is not- then no doubt she will or wanted to have a run in SC to position herself as not a Trumper.

1. to build up her PAC and
2. In case Trump does get convicted of something or has some kind of medical issue she would be the backup choice.

His hairness will have to just deal with it.

Partially true and partially TOTALLY FALSE.

Yes, she would be back in play if Trump went away for some reason.

But no, she would not automatically "be the backup of choice." The majority/core of the pub party is MAGA and if Trump left the scene they would be looking for a replacement for him and not automatically default to Haley. They would still be looking for someone who is not Haley.

The way i am seeing it... Nikki Haley will at least stick around until the results of Super Tuesday (March 5th) are in. If Haley is not leading in several states after Super Tuesday then she will drop out.
