Yeh. that was a bit of a mindfield.
Interesting though was that Trump's lawyer also had an example to argue that to allow it would also be a slippery slope. He asked whether (paraphrase from memory here) whether a republican president could come in and decide to have Obama prosecuted for ordering the killing of an American citizen (clear reference to the drone strike on an American) after he had left office. So, he had a real point there too. WHEEEEE.....they were getting down and dirty on both sides. Or three sides, including the justices.

It is quite obvious that the Trump campaign failed to file by the necessary deadline for Trump to be included on the primary ballot in Nevada. Any questions?
Trump is opting for the Nevada GOP caucus after missing the deadline -- and the state party after MAGA pressure will be using a caucus rather than primary for selection. This change makes the primary effectively symbolic -- but also opens court challenges over what system should be used.
