Sununu making a last minute attempt to show Christie that he has an off-ramp that will leave him as a hero rather than just an outright loser. The same rap I have given a couple times in the last couple weeks. Not going to happen though. Christie just bought 2 million in ads for the last weeks of the campaign in New Hampshire. I guess unless he can cancel much of that or something. But the signs are that he is not dropping out.

So Christie is about to join Biden as a force that helped to get Trump re-elected because they would not drop out in a timely manner. Christie will come in - what?- maybe third in the only state he campaigned and invested in- NH.

Biden might do an LBJ off in March or so and drop out or be driven out. But he will still be held responsible for Trump winning if that is what happens because he gave cause for third party movements and denied other dem candidates a real chance to develop their campaigns. So Joe - the dem hero who saved the world from another term of Trump- becomes Joe the dumbphuk who gave the world another term of Trump. That will be his legacy amongst his own dem ilk. Never underestimate Joe's ability to fuck up, as Barry said.

She does not dare to tear into Christies fat slob arse right now because she does not want to anger him and remove that small chance that he will play ball. Those same people would cry foul if GOP attempted same judicial coup. The right simply waited for the election to make a run at their key issues in 2020 and focusing on abortion on cutting taxes and immigration got trump elected. I am tired of watching the Dems fail over and over and rather than try and address issues and win, it is always a backdoor tactic...flooding the SC was the latest one.

I am pointing out the desire to change an institution like the SC simply because the losing side is not happy with the results is not some grand cause to reflect the will of the people.

(Resegregation could not occur becuase congress finally acted to ensure that although de jure segregation was made illegal, that it would also make de facto segregation illegal too as well as all other forms of Jim Crow still in existence.)

I'm not hanging on Biden expanding the court if he wins a 2nd term and gave up on his telegraphing expanding it while campaigning early in his first. Electing Trump is just moronic as he'd just appoint a Thomas replacement....I just don't see why dems ought to relinquish the power given to congress to expand the court. We didn't start w/50 states either.

eh....i'm not so sure this court would not roll back amendments as they've certainly attacked the 1st's implied separation clause.
