This is what the GOP has sunk to -- the party that regularly peddles fabricated nonsense with no evidence. It's time to hold people accountable who spread complete misinformation that leads to violence and hostility. We can start by locking up Trump and then maybe the rest of the GQP idiots will get the hint.

All President Donald Trump needs is to have all his cases heard at the US Supreme Court. The US Supreme Court needs to consolidate all the cases otherwise, they will be faced with dealing with each case. All these cases brought up with one goal, to disqualify President Donald Trump from running as President of the United States. This is election interference at a minimum. The US Supreme Court should postpone these cases after the November 8, 2024 elections if the prosecutors insist on having these cases go to trial. US Supreme Court should dismiss the cases because of various defects in those cases, which should not have been brought up in the first place. Someone has to be the adult in the room.

Manchin increasingly participating in foreplay in public in each day now. Makes like he is joking but is stoking the fire and running the idea up the flagpole to see who salutes. article below.

Similarly Mitt Romney is now openly participating in Manchin foreplay (excuse me, I just threw up a little). He joked on CNN earlier today - or at least today was when I saw it- when he was asked which Republican he would endorse that he would like to endorse Joe Manchin but does not want to jinx him- while also flat out saying that he "would like to vote for him." So he also has gotten the message that it is okay to start the dance in public, under the guise of maybe serious/maybe not serious for cover.

If Manchin runs- and especially if Bobby gets on ballots too (which is iffy) then a Manchin run favors the party that takes the House- because even a small division of the electoral vote split will make it impossible for either of the parties to get a majority of electoral votes-which under the constitution kicks it into the house.
As a partical matter though, No Labels has said it will not run participate or enable the election of Trump, so they would order/free up their electoral delegates (or the states would or they would do it themselves depending on how it works in each state (to go to Biden (or whoever the dem nominee is).

Yup. it could get Rumsfeldian real fast.

Could go the other direction too if Manchin and Haley are on the same ticket. Suppose they got 35 % of the electoral votes in a race against Biden/Harris and Trump/Noem and then a handful of Republican delegates and a handful of Dem delegates defect over to Manchin/Haley. Yeh I know. Too early for that discussion. Except sometimes being too early keeps you from getting gobsmacked and not watching out for Rumsfeldian developments when they come.
