She (Haley) doesnt really have a lock on anything or any segment. And the Haley "surge" is, when you look at the data, just one or two points wiggling above and/or below Desantis. It is only noteworthy because it presses on prior assumptions about Desantis, which I understand, but nevertheless is not all that interesting or eventful given Trump's lead.
I made the point above earlier today......that Nikki's performance was actually rather uneventful, just a couple points wiggling up or down, and that reporting on it has made it rather more eventful than it actually is.
Fast forward to a couple minutes ago, and Marianne Williamson just made that same point but in an extremely pithy manner- I have to give her credit. Her point is valid.
Marianne said that Nikki Haley is getting all of this attention but that she (Marianne) was actually running further ahead of Nikki in the dem primary (Marianne is at 13%, Nikki at 10 or 11 I think) yet she is treated as being invisible and not existing. She pointed out that the lefty networks report that there are no opponents in the dem primary.
You gotta admit she makes a point about both the dem and pub primaries. Nikki "surging" at 11 points, but Marianne does not even exist at 13 points????? Pithy, very pithy.
She also said that Fox should start holding dem debates. So she expanded my point that Hannity is becoming Debate Central. Sure, I can see that. Bobby would go there too as an independent.
Good points she made. The party machines are failing everyone.
Neil Cavuto also leaned on her and said that "Robert Kennedy left the democratic party and went independent, so why don't you just doe that." And she fired back: "because he has 15 million in the bank and I don't." Pithy, very pithy.
The girl is on her game. Apparently smoking some strong granola of late.
