It has nothing to do with what I think or the merits of his position.
I just made the point that he just walked into another issue that will require lots of splainin' and will be an energy sink for him. He has couple of those going already. As the saying goes "in politics if you are explaining, you are losing." That's all.
So you retort back by making my point.
NATO is legitimately criticized for failure to pay fair share, but a candidate has to be careful how they handle the suggestion of not having European partners. Not saying they cannot question that. Just sayin', the opposition is going to have fun with it so make sure you have a plan for it rather than just step into the doo-doo.

You I don’t know if Trump is changing the psyche of our nation so much as amplifying the anger coming from what used to be the conservative right.
These guys, Reagan, Bushes, even Romney and McCain all tapped into to this anger for political gain without thinking about how it would impact the future of the Republican Party. Now the Republican Party has no ideology beyond outrage and anger. It’s just a contest among politicians that can feed the proverbial beast the most hate.
What is nice is the current situation in the House is highlighting how much this ideology cannot even do basic governing.

Nonsense. Pelosi ran the House with just as slim of a majority with great success. If anything all you’re doing is reinforcing my point of how there is no political ideology in the Republican Party. It’s just a mob.
