Youngkin is Mr. September. As in see you in September after the first debate, Trump is mired in even more indictments and all the other candidates (DeSantis) have failed. Then and only then will you see Youngkin.
Quite so, but there will be some foreplay along the way.
Those who allegedly are not connected with Youngkin will get his name out there enough so that he will start being included in more hypothetical polls. It's the old "run his name up the flagpole to see who salutes" routine.
You will recall that I have said several times I do not see Trump gets the nomination without Fox News embracing him fully - not just at the individual host level. I am still watching that. By Fox, I of course mean the Murdoch empire. So Rupert has abandoned Trump, and now apparently abandoning DeSantis- so yeh, Murdoch is a loose cannon rolling on the deck of the ship that I still watch. Wherever it lands, it has some fire power.
Yep... there is really no difference between Trump and the fuehrer.

In simpler times this would be seen as a good sign for the dems.
However, there are concerns being raised amongst the dems about Biden/Harris beginning to get "too much money." You know the dems are in this little period where they don't know how to navigate the fact that they want to see a dem ticket do well but they are not comfortable about being locked into Biden. No one has the answer but the more money that gets locked into Joe and Kamala begins to force them to come to grips with the fact that no other savior is or may be coming. They are sort of hoping to see some powder being saved for Newsom to come out of the bushes or something.
Whereas over in Camp Pub - yes Trump is the clear leader- but money is still sliding all over the place from big donors and big players like Murdock, as discussed. A lot of money rolling around that either has not been committed or is being re-committed as Trump and DeSantis fall in and out of favor with various players.

Some aspects of the Biden-Harris fundraising are not as pretty when you look at the detail. I mean, yes, any cash is good but whether it is an indicator of support amongst the ranks is questionable.
