You did not read carefully. So far he has only been indicted not convicted. I said if convicted. The law is clear on that.

And you're right, I do get my information from the news or wherever. Where am I supposed to get it? Aside from delving into the finer minutia of the Constitution?
I only quoted quoted NPR because that was at the top of the Google search, but underneath it were a half dozen sources that said the same thing. The same thing being even if he is convicted.. and even given jail-time... he can still run.
Now if you can find evidence contrary to that from a reliable source... by all means... show us.
Like I said... this is not my forte... but I gotta think if an NPR reporter wrote that... they probably did their DD and it's probably true.
