Election 2024 Foreplay

Just remember what I have said twice: "I am very Rumsfeldian about this campaign."

ie. I don't have a good feel for what it will be, but this election will be determined by one of the "unknown, unknowns."

Could be no third party. Could be two- RFK and Manchin. Someone could be assassinated or die. Don't know. Unknown. unknowns.

The dems are thinking that it is just going to be 18 months of watching Sleepy Joe and the paint drying in the basement. Not so sure about that.
So rfk's wife hung herself in the garage?
Man that family... it's like they're cursed or something.

Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin says no to presidential run in 2023
https://wtop.com/virginia/2023/05/virginia-gov-glenn-youngkin-says-no-to-2024-presidential-run/

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin responded to speculation about a potential 2024 presidential run Monday with a simple “no” when he was asked about returning to the campaign trail later this year.

The governor was participating in a talk at the Milken Institute with Wall Street Journal editor-at-large Gerard Baker, who asked Youngkin if he planned to dust off his signature fleece vest and launch a presidential campaign.

“I’m going to be working in Virginia this year,” Youngkin replied, citing the Virginia state House and Senate races coming this November. Republicans currently control the House of Delegates and would like to flip the state Senate, which is controlled by Democrats.

“I haven’t written a book; I’m not in Iowa,” the governor said. “I’m spending time representing Virginia this year.”

This is the first time that Youngkin — who arrived at the California event from a trip to Taiwan, Japan and South Korea — has given an answer to questions about whether he had any plans to run for president.

In response, Youngkin Spokesperson Macaulay Porter told NBC News the governor was commenting on his 2023 plans and that the questions posed to him were “directly asked about this year.” Another Youngkin aid added not to count him out for 2024 just yet.

Youngkin declined to rule out a run in July last year in an interview with CBS News chief election & campaign correspondent Robert Costa on “Face the Nation.” At the time, he acknowledged being “hugely humbled by this discussion” that he might run for president and didn’t deny that some Republican donors had approached him.

He chalked up the attention to “the fact that I won in a state that was blue, and we turned it red,” adding, I ran on a platform that we’re delivering.”

But at the time, he told Costa he felt his job was to be “a great governor of Virginia.”

OK but that doesn’t take him out of the veep stakes.

The plot didn't thicken... it just got moved.

" an area where the Kennedy family is now negotiating to buy 50 more plots."

I guess they know they're cursed too.

Even though he is getting to be "high-mileage" he still manages to keep a woman on his wing.

What can I say? He has had his share of pain and demons.

If he wants to take them out on the trail, fine. There is no requirement that a guy drop out of life just because he has fucked up a hundred times over. Maybe there should be.

Glenn Youngkin = Mr. Rogers.

Who. Getting messy for the Biden Crime Family.

Never good when the judge coaxes one of the parties on how to uncover some of the backdoor payments that Hunter is getting. And no, this is not about Hunter. It is about a presidential candidate and who is paying family members to influence the president. The Arkansas court probably would not release the names of the purchasers because it is only the dollar amount relevant for a child support action. But she has just signaled to Congressional Oversight Committee what they can do as well for their purpose.

MORE TO COME.

  • Judge Holly Meyer ripped into Hunter Biden and his legal team for 'sealing and redacting' his financial information
  • She suggested lawyers for Lunden Roberts subpoena a downtown Manhattan art gallery to find out how much he made from selling his art
