Yep. There are two messages in there about DeSantis. One of course is that, yeh, it is good for DeSantis to have a good favorability rating- duh. No charge for that analysis.
But the other thing, is that it is confirmation that attacking DeSantis is not the way to go once you get outside of ultra-hardcore maga voters. They don't like it. No one is saying that Trump should not go on the offensive or be vocal on the issues. But they don't like anything nasty against DeSantis. Trump does not get that and that will not change.
All of this horseshit about continually trying to find the right nickname to demean DeSantis- soooo...lame and pathetic. Ron DeSanctus? What the fuck does that even mean or get you?
C'mon man.
DeSantis shot himself in the foot with his very weak remarks on Alvin Bragg. Instead, of savaging Bragg for his blatant abuse of power and trying to take President Donald Trump's rights away, he referenced the fact that Trump paid hush monies to Stormy Daniels? He missed the point by a mile, witnessed by millions of US voters. Not a surprise that Ron DeSantis support fell a great deal after that. He showed himself to be weak, will not fight Democrats on their abuses. He also, has to debate President Donald Trump on policies on the economy, borders, foreign policy among others. He adopted the RINO position of confronting Russia. That is after saying the Ukraine war was a border dispute? His flip flopping on the issues will not help him one bit.
