Big loser of the week = Kamala Harris

The RNC Convention and the attack on Trump have successfully diverted attention away from removing Joe for a few days and that effort was so fragile that that is all that was needed. The dem's confidence in Joe remains in the toilet but he has successfully run out the clock. Or will have by the end of next week. The limited timetable to replace him is unforgiving.

Next. JD Vance vis a vis Kamala? Cmon' Man. A debate like that can go very badly. Refer to Biden for more on that?

Dems are frozen like deer in the headlights. Donors are not giving to Biden and will not be holding out to give to Kamala either- and it is too late for others to enter without just signing up to lose either at the mini-primary level or at the Nov. election. How much fun is that.

Yeh, we get it dems. "Democrats will begin to rally back around Biden now that they see they have no choice." Sure, okay. And that true to some mediocre degree. It's like climbing into a wet bathing suit for them though.

That's possible. But, since I learned politics from a movie, I can only offer the following:

Young men make wars, and the virtues of war are the virtues of young men: courage, and hope for the future. Then old men make the peace, and the vices of peace are the vices of old men: mistrust and caution.​

So, it makes some sense that Trump can not surround himself with "ordinary men" all the time. We'll see how it turns out.

Not bragging, but like I said, even though Trump despises dogs.... and I can appreciate that.... shedding sucks, or at the least it is a lot of work if you want a spotless abode... which Trump is all about....but Trump reads people. As in voters. As do I. Voters AND Trump.

Trump isn't stupid... according to Cohen's book he really slammed Jr for shooting an elephant at some point. Why did he do that? It's not because Trump cares about elephants... it's because he cares about optics. I've told you this before.

As simple or insignificant as it may seem.... the fact that Noem took her perfectly healthy dog out behind the barn and put a bullet thru its head... (you have to realize the gravity of this act as perceived by middle to upper middle ---middle class suburban moms) is horrible optics in selecting her as VP. I don't care what the details were. It's all in how it will be spun.

Trump understands this. If he is smart about anything, it's stuff like this. Right or wrong, regardless of her policies and successes to date as Governor... or her political persuasions being devout and in line with Trump's... as insignificant as shooting her own dog may seem to you... the potential cannon fodder that will be used by the Dems and their bottomless pit of 24/7 ad dollars applied to such... is gonna sour the side of Trump that has carried him this far. The marketing side.

But we'll see. You were right about SPX 5500 a short month or so ago.., and the "Izzy Bottom" in 2020 was a call for the ages... but I don't think you understand just how important this sector of the voting demographic is, and how pissed off the Dem ads can make them.... "shooting a poor dog in the head."

Facts don't matter, optics do. It's the world we live in now.
