The GOP torpedoing Biden's border bill neutralized The GOPs strongest issue and will turn things around for Joe,just have to be patient.
As we know, this DOJ takes no action unless there is a political side to it. So when a democrat is being persecuted, I look to see where the accused has been bad for the dems.
There it is, right there. The very last sentence in the article:
"He's the only Democrat left in Congress who opposes abortion rights — a position that has infuriated many in his party."
Just as with Congresswoman Cory Bush. As a progressive, she was untouchable but when she became too vocal about resisting Biden over Gaza, he put the DOJ on her for alleged campaign fund abuse, or something.
As an aside, trying to do a hit job on Henry Cuellar is going to cost Biden votes (maybe I should say "even more votes") amongst hispanics in Texas. Cuellar's support goes across both lefty hispanics and traditional hispanics.
Also, I am not saying he is not guilty as hell of this or that. I have no idea. Just saying being guilty would not be the primary deciding factor to prosecute by the DOJ. That is not how they roll.

Bernie Sanders is saying the unthinkable outloud, and he says that many other dems are saying it behind the scene, ie, that if Biden does not turn this Gaza protest thing around soon it will become "Biden's Vietnam and take him down the same way as it took Lyndon Johnson down."
There are some reasons why Vietnam and this Gaza protest situation are very different, but there are also plenty of reasons why the outcome could also be just as Bernie fears.
