Redistricting alone made the district more competitive.Last nights race being low turnout with only 6,000 votes when the race prior to redistricting was 21,000 votes made it even more competitive for Dems.

Many republicans likely didn't bother showing up knowing there is an election in November and temporarily losing the seat means nothing with the huge overall lead The GOP has in Alabama but dumb ass democrats thinks this means Biden wins in November

Vice President Knee Pads keeping the cartels and dictators happy as can be.

Yo Dems, y'all have some charts and graphs showing how much Mama Root Cause has reduced the immigration? Can you think of any places in the U.S. that could use a billion here and a billion there? And this is just their most recent allotment. How much reduction in immigrants have we gotten from the previous billions?

We saw this with the blue wave in 2018 as republicans voted for the candidates who were in favor of keeping the ACA intact. Those R's have now moved over into the Biden column.

Republicans got millions more votes in 2022 though. Biden is much more hated now than he was in 2022.

Marilyn Lands (D) “won a contentious special election for a state house seat in deep-red Alabama on Tuesday night, in a race that could signal the dominant role of abortion and in-vitro fertilization in elections across the country in 2024,” USA Today reports.

“While her win won’t change the makeup of the heavily Republican Alabama legislature, it does showcase the enormous impact reproductive issues, such as abortion and in-vitro fertilization, could have down the ballot in 2024.”

“Lands focused her campaign heavily on protecting abortion and IVF access.”

Politico: Abortion proves winning strategy for Alabama Democrat.
The incumbent resigned after being convicted of voter fraud
Its difficult to overcome that feeling when following a felon conviction of the previous offical
Also a very small vote
