We will be getting new polling this week, and a lot of it due to the SOTU of the union last week. While not totally not in focus, there will be less primary noise and the electorate should be more focused on Biden v Trump. This will be interesting and I expect campaigns to come more into focus.

Polling right after a state of the union address is mostly neither here nor there. Some get a bump- some don't. A week later the world has moved on and no one remembers what the hell was said and done at the state of the union address.
The reason it is probably more important to Biden is that the Dems are out there now raving about how his state of the union address is proof of this or that or his saving grace so the poll needs to deliver. I don't believe it is but that is the corner that the dems have painted themselves into. If he had a great speech, and the polls said he still sucks, then what?

Joe is going to Michigan next week. He needs to work on not getting Gaza and Israel mixed up when he talks. And refrain from referring to Bibi as Lincoln Netanyahu. The speech is over and people want to know what he is saying today, not last week. Of course his teleprompter will follow him everywhere and he will NOT take questions everywhere. Especially in Michigan. Or if he does he will fuck up.

True, but I think the big take-away from this one that might stick, right or wrong, was Joe's energy level. I didn't watch it, but the clips I saw looked like he was amped up on something. There's no way he wasn't. The WH physician blended something. Probably an adderall/ketamine mix. Done properly it's safe highly effective.
As I have said a couple times before. I am willing to let the dems have their fun.
Out in the real world though, I am watching the same thing that the dem insiders are watching which is how he performs out on the trail. Not how he spars with beltway opponents while in the beltway where he has functioned as a mushroom for the last fifty years.
Biden goes to Michigan next thursday. A critical swing state. The last time he went to michigan he met with the union workers and they performed homoerotic acts on each other while talking about how special they are together. But most notably, he did not meet with or go head to head with gaza protesters. I doubt very much that the dems there will give him a pass and let him skate again on the next visit by not going head to head on the issue/s. But if Joe is feeling peppy and is as sharp as they say, then go for it. The world is watching. Asking the muslims in Saginaw if they saw the state of the union address is probably not going to suffice.
We got a 1968 style convention brewing. Joe gets to be the "get off my lawn guy" in some forums but in other places people will be telling him to get off their lawn. As the indians say, some days you eat the bear and other days the bear eats you.
Joe and his handlers are stupid enough to think that Joe can keep the gaza wing at bay by trotting out that pier for supplies in gaza and calling for a ceasefire. Nope. That's beltway kabuki dance material. The muslims in Michigan want to know when the U.S. is going to stop arming Isreal's assault. Go for it Joe. Take your little action-figure arse up to Michigan and talk to them.
I note that Joe has announced that he is going to Saginaw but the campaign refuses to announce what the scheduled events will be and what the locations are. Yeh. Look for the small signs. They don't want the crowds lining up too soon and making plans too soon. Those are not the types of crowds Biden wants. If it is a union location it probably has been announced and their will be free buffet.

Frigging Merrick Failed Supreme Court Nominee Garland out there harping on this scam about how requiring voter id's is racist because many black people do not hav id's. He loves that scam, as do all lefties and they like to crank it up as elections approach.
