Elaborate Russian Pump and Dump Run Thru IB

I have opened accts with far less than IB requested and am well aware of the the fakes, etc..., What amazed me was they requested SOOO much documentation. Verses other accounts.

On the flipside, my trading experience with IB has been the best and most REWARDING. :D

I agree with you synopsis of the thread, however the subject title indicates things specifically related to IB, not the illegal usage of other US based brokerages....

Hence my gleaning the documents and responding in kind.
 
I have faked IP address, utilities, phone number etc... before in order to cash some money out of a poker site that was being difficult. (No fraud on my part, just a scamming poker site)

Just searching online for 2 days I was able to send them a utility bill, and a WORKING phone number/mailing street address. It all cost like $200 total.

If necessary I could have had a very high end drivers license from the country in question for about $100.

If nerdy ol' me can do that I am sure the professional criminals can do much much better.

Well, if you made any money with it you now ARE a professional criminal, LOL.

Also, don't overestimate the capacities of these crooks. Most of them don't become crooks because they're highly intelligent, you know. Your 'expertise' might be well above theirs already.

Russia/Ukraine have no functioning legal system as we understand in the West...
And is corrupt to the point where only money talks...
And certainly no functioning regulatory system.

If any USA citizen would involved in any activities
against USA law ,russian authority would closely monitor
this activities and with knowledge ,that this kind of acitivities
in USA would have more penalty as in Russia ,would send
this information to USA SEC,CFTC and FBI .
