Com'on man, there is no excuse for this complete failure of the security detail, none, zero, nada. The security at a fucking rock concert would be better. I don't know which is more disturbing. The conspiracy theorist that they were in on it, or that they're just that incompetent. Both ideas should give us pause. I mean, just how fucked up are these government agencies?

I'm not excusing what happened; I'm only trying to contextualize the circumstances. But, yeah, there will likely be hell to pay.

On the other hand, I imagine every Right Wing political operative couldn't possibly be happier.

Let's try not to forget that Trump is not the actual president, so he doesn't get the same level of security as does the, you know, actual president.

Just sayin' also that a 14 year old kid who just learned to use the cheap drone from China that he ordered off of Amazon last month could have adequately surveilled that rally site better than the Secret DEI Service did.
