No, normal American men don't get married to force sex upon their wives, and normal American Muslims don't rape at a higher percentage than any other religious group.

The intent of the thread is to blame Muslims for increase numbers of rape. If that is true, we should see the similar statistics in America among Muslim men, right?
Unless American Muslims "aren't real Muslims" which I have heard the Muslim haters say before...as if the Muslim haters know what true Islam is, and should be.
I am not denying that Muslim leaders have perverted the religions of Islam for their own purposes, and the uneducated non westernized masses have fallen for the dogmatic preaching of these extremist Imams, but the point goes not to Islam as a religion, but to the extremist leaders and their extremist followers.
When discussing a group, like Muslims, if we don't include American Muslims in the statistics, the arguments become invalid.
Culture is the method by which any particular religion is indoctrinated into a group, and cultures of hate and primitive thinking, extremist dogmatic thinking, fundamentalist thinking produce people who follow the fundamentalist leadership.
You can blame Islam, incorrectly, or you can blame the extremist leadership who wish to control their people through extremist totalitarian thinking.
This is not unique to history, or any particular religion, or non religion...the elements are the same throughout history where we have seen power hungry leaders utilize religion or any other ideology to gain power, keep power, and amass more power over others.
Is it a danger, yes of course!!!
But the better prepared we as Americans are to see genuine totalitarian self righteousness in our own leadership and extremist groups, the less likely we are going to have to get into and US vs. Them type of war we have seen for generations upon generations.
The way to beat extremism is not through extremism, but through a moderate revelation of the truth of extremism and the dangers extremist fundamentalist thinkers bring to their respective societies.
