eggs

I'm the exception because I don't eat a crap diet. I'm also the exception because I've read up on nutrition with an open mind and done research to find what really is the best way to eat. What I've learned is that the low fat, whole grains, avoid meat and cholesterol mantra is total bs. Dietary fat and cholesterol is not the cause of heart disease, cancer and diabetes- excessively high blood sugar and massive repeated insulin spikes are. The bad advice we've all been given is based on flawed research (lipid hypothesis), stupid government meddling (McGovern Commission) and drug and food companies basically running government agencies from the inside (read up on the backgrounds of most high ups at the fda and usda).

You know who wants you to be afraid of high cholesterol? The drug companies that sell statins. Where do you think most docs get their continuing education on the subject from? Same source.

And you get your facts/info/enlightenment from where?

...I personally eat an average of 3-5 eggs a day and 5 lbs of red meat a week and my recent blood work showed my 'good' cholesterol was at the top of the range and my 'bad' cholesterol was off the chart below the normal range...
Even so, I think you might be setting yourself up for a surprise. And let us not overlook the genetic component. Looks like you were dealt a great hand, but it's still incumbent upon you to play it well.

Lescor is there any other advice about your diet you can detail?

Quote from lescor:

I don't follow a specific diet, I just eat clean and follow this guideline most of the time: Eat lots of meat, vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.

Quote from lescor:

It's well documented in current medical research that there is virtually no link between dietary cholesterol and blood serum cholesterol.

I personally eat an average of 3-5 eggs a day and 5 lbs of red meat a week and my recent blood work showed my 'good' cholesterol was at the top of the range and my 'bad' cholesterol was off the chart below the normal range.

So much of the dietary information pushed on us is agenda driven and/or based on terribly conducted research, usually funded by the companies that stand to benefit from it. Objective, open-minded research on nutrition is a real eye opener.

Lescor, you ever read "The 4 Hour Body"? 'cus that sounds like what he recommends.

eggs are one of the best foods to eat.
especially raw eggs.

raw eggs are #1 of ALL foods in aminoacid cystine - required to produce super powerful antioxidant Glutathione.

very high in another amino acid tryptophan - required to produce serotonin which converts into melatonin- which is #1 hormone in the body.

last but least- eggs contain moderate amount of vitamin K2, responsible for proper calcium management and vitamin D absorption.

The more vit K2 you have - the stronger bones you'll have.

most abundant sources of K2: Natto, hard cheeses, butter.
google: weston price, activator X, vitamin K2.

every food which contains complete aminoacids set: gojis, chlorella, spirulina, nuts, raw milk, cheeses, eggs is very good for health.

Aren't you concerned about salmonella from raw eggs?

No, it is extremely rare.
Esp. if chickens are kept in good conditions.

Besides, i eat raw eggs with raw beef AND a lot of garlic- which is strongly antibacterial.
