Huh? If I know something happens 80% of the time that is sufficient basis to expect it to occur again, no?No, I highlighted the two words - know and will - for a reason.
Because nobody knows what will happen.

%%Good question. Part of the skill set of a buy side analyst is to uncover critical factors (major embedded scenarios) and catalysts (informational events). There’s usually at least one tradeable event for most stocks every month or so, and most analysts will cover 50-80 stocks.

Rhyme zone helped in that zoneI wouldn’t classify those guys as analysts in the traditional sense. What is portrayed on TV is pretty different from what actual analysts and portfolio managers do.%%
GOOD points; not sure any analysts has ever helped me except Jim Cramer or Top Traders @ jack Schwager book . Those are maybe not analysts in the strictest sense.
Mainly , dont trade junk that doesnt profit you/ for me that's single stocks...........
So WE dont really '' know ''\
so look @ the flow\
see how it does grow/
better have to much ammo/
+ that we do know/Top trader hedge funder/ told jack Schwager/ dont run out of bullets/ the the elephant walks by LOLRhyme zone helped in that zone
Use of the word will in reference to something happening 80% of the time. Will is for the most past thought of a certainty. Maybe you consider 80% to be that. I don't and all that I'm questioning.Huh? If I know something happens 80% of the time that is sufficient basis to expect it to occur again, no?
I think you’re wrapping yourself around a game of semantics. Catalysts are informational events, as in, 100% of the time material information is released.Use of the word will in reference to something happening 80% of the time. BS - you initially claimed to know in advance something that will happen, now its 80% of the time might happen.I think you’re wrapping yourself around a game of semantics. Catalysts are informational events, as in, 100% of the time material information is released.

I made a hypothetical because I was being charitable and didn’t realize you were going to play semantics lol.BS - you initially claimed to know in advance something that will happen, now its 80% of the time might happen.
Word play is not on my part.
