The only independence I care about is my own account. I am an independent thinker and trader. I make my trades based on my own methods. I don't have a formal Journal like yours because I have nothing to prove to anyone. I am not here to prove or sell anything like you. I am not a a snake oil salesman like you. I make my comments and I make my trades occasionally available for all to see here. Why don't you do a little search and see how my live trades have compared to the ones you have done so far?. In fact there are a few people on the forum that I speak with about live trades and most of my trades are profitable most of the time. But I am certainly kicking the shit out of your calls. But I don't go onto your Journal (better named a "Urinal") and load up 50% of the pages to belittle you and your methods. You seem to be making a fool of yourself without my help.

I'll say it again, if you are such the great trading mind you disillusion yourself to be then come and take my money since my methods will surely lose in the end. You should love people like me because I make your life easier to make money since I am following such poor methods in your view. Yet, it's the opposite that is true.

Have you ever noticed that I am not out there telling you WHY your methods suck and WHY you lose money on so many trades???? Huh, sporto?... maybe it's because I know better than to tap the glass and disturb the fish that let me feed on them.

By the way, I think you should update your profile pic with the one below. It's more appropriate for you.

Actually no I am not trolling him at all. May I remind you AGAIN that it is actually both YOU and surf that have come into the TA portion of this forum to shit on TA. As someone who uses TA I think it's well within my freedoms to call both of you out on it. Since you are his alter ego why don't you focus on telling him/yourself to move along instead of trolling a TA forum section to start a thread to belittle it.

I've never found success trading chart patterns. Spent countless hours on traditional, and non-traditional pattern analysis. It wasn't a fruitless endeavor, just a costly one.

When I stepped back and decided to pursue quantitative trading, the chart time and trading experience helped me visualize, and build the robust models I currently use.

Call me out on it. Where is the emprical proof that TA works or even makes logical sense? Let me give you a clue-- THERE IS NOT MUCH. In fact, the evidence is stacked dramatically against it being an effective sole method of making decisions.

For you to deny the validity of T/A is kind of shocking to me.
I would think world class traders attempt to study and embrace ALL philosophies.
I would. If I were a world class trader that is.
There's a reason there has been volumes and volumes of studies on it.
There's something there to be learned.
To dismiss its relevance is a tad narrow minded don't you think?
Its like religious zealots... they're low IQ idiots.
Thats not a slam btw. Just an observation on the bigger picture as it applies to trading acumen.

Keep telling yourself that. I profit from this sort of thinking. Where is the empirical proof that your secret method work?,...sporto.....There is NONE as your failed trades throughout ET prove. If anyone claims to be a successful with the kind of track record of poor money management, martingale sizing, and terrible trade entries you have they ought to have their head examined. In fact your claim that the market has topped where you went initially short was about,.....oh ONE MONTH too early, sport. Yet you traded more and more SHORTS and now FINALLY have a winning trade albeit a small one so now you have 1/8 trades a winner. It was laughable that you claim to have any knowledge whatsoever when you make calls like our system has gone off the wall crazy saying SHORT SHORT SHORT... The proof is in the pudding and your pudding sucks.

This is not hate vibe it's pointing out your hypocrisy, stupidity, and lack of ability to trade in any meaningful way. Yet those of us that can read charts are profiting from your close minded thoughts taking shorts in the middle of an strong uptrend.

I have been there and done that.heck i was a member of the MTA and have many t analysts as friends. I am speaking from deep research and experience. I would love TA to work like the price action folks claim. It would make things much easier.
