Educators who Have Zero proof they even trade (99%) - wtf?

I dont disagree with levering up if you have a proven intraday edge - but you're idea of how much needs to be made a day is completely subjective.

If you need $1K+ a day to live your lifestyle that's fine - but that is light years beyond what I or many need to be comfortable. Hell - $240 a day averaged over a typical 8 hour workday for a full year is a $60K salary. Or even double that is a six figure salary.

Like I said - unnecessary unless your goal is to open / run your own fund or go work for one of the bigs. Who the hell would do that when they can work for themselves?

$10,000 on a good day is a minimum figure. I'm not saying a trader should expect to make that every day.

Being happy with just $1000 on a good day is small time piker level trading. Not serious professional trading. Its a waste of time. You can get away with it because you aren't a professional trader. You are professional 'educator'.

If you make 50 traders per day, you should definitely be having $10,000+ winning days sometimes.

You may be right re goals for an experienced professional trader. I'm still an educator because I never got comfortable/brave enough to trade thousands of shares. So I leverage lessons learned from real, albeit piker size trades. That's been well respected by thousands I've taught.

I'm an educator who, like deaddog correctly observed, trades so that I can teach. My point, again, is that I teach lessons learned based on current real trades I'm in. Versus educators with zero proof they even trade.

Wha? Anyway, Just grab a relaxing beverage, put some smooth music on the stereo, grab a notepad, be charming and hang around for the next few iterations of 'making chicken soup". Then go to the grocery store and score all the goods and on Mother's day fix your dear wife up nice and comfy and give her a dozen roses and a fifth of 4-Roses to watch you botch up your first batch of 'chicken soup'. Repeat. How many will it take before yours and hers are competitive. Practical experience. Then you can teach her how to cut the grass and fend off home invaders. Win - Win.
 
Ken: Getting back to the subject of this thread; As a customer, student, client or member of your trading room, what should I expect from you as far as documentation to confirm that you trade.

I have no doubt that you trade. What I wonder is how successfully. I have seen screenshots of some of your good trades but wonder about the unprofitable ones.

I haven't seen a whole days trading, just snippets of trades you are proud of. You dodge questions about performance.

What kind of industry standards would you recommend. From what I understand there is nothing to prevent an educator from stating their performance as long as it can be verified.

Of the pro traders I know, none of us would even blink at a $10k day...it's a rounding error. While I understand the point of your OP post, you kind of threw yourself to the wolves. I'd suggest throwing your trades into Traderview to give us some stats on your performance. It's super easy and free with trial.

Ken is an educator first. He admits that. People want to learn how to trade, for a price they can watch what he does in real time. From there they are on their own.

Those starting out seem to believe that there is some great secret that they can buy and then never have a losing trade. If I can only learn the secret I'll be rich. They are willing to pay someone to just look over their shoulder. Ken is talented enough to be able to sell this dream. Whether the experience is of any value will be up to each individual.
