Economists Credit Trump as Tailwind for U.S. Growth, Hiring and Stocks

Max, your a smart guy, so I know you are familiar with what heavy deficit spending does to GDP, particularly outside of recession. Anyway I happened of this ver interesting and highly entertaining article http://zfacts.com/p/318.html
That's where I found this cute image.

The little G.H.W.Bush video on "Voodoo Economics" is fun, and of course when G.H.W.B. teamed up with Reagan he had to lay his Voodoo remarks to"youthful indiscretion" or was it perhaps "having mis-spoke", or "golly I must have temporarily lost my mind".
You are delusional, as usual.

this is why models don't work in global warming and tax revenues. unfounded assumptions.

why don't you tell us the assumptions that are made when creating that green line.

There is no way in hell anyone in the world can tell you what the the deficit would have been as a percent of GDP because in reality is there were tax cuts. The green line is just projected off chosen inputs.

That is exactly why agw models fail. The "scientists' input climate sensitivity to carbon and project temperature. Carbons sensitivity... the key input, is just a guess.

the green line is a guess which include guesses on where the GDP would have been had there been no tax cuts. I bet the modeler choose a level of good growth rather than a continual slide into a deeper recession.

Plus I went to the site. it lied. it said tax revenues did not go up after the reagan tax cuts.
revenues went up dramatically.
What would that chaRT look like if Obama had balanced its budget, what would that chart look like if democrats were not running congress during those periods, the president just signs bills that get sent to his desk, its congress who draws it all up and puts all of the spending in too it.

Your a smart guy too, why is it that when you go to every single state or province in North America, the highest Debt/GDP is almost unilaterally liberal states and provinces?

You guys act like the ‘Great Recession’ never happened and that is what makes both of your arguments disingenuous.

When did the dems take control of both houses? who signed the law getting rid of glass steagall? You probably dont even know about this one but how many people lost their job as a result of d0odd-frank. You dont even know which party was responsible because you werent there to witness the pain. Im sorry to go there dude, but ive helped everyone i could ive went from bust to restart, if you wanna tell me which side has fucked me more and you havent been there i have to call b.s. sorry man, id be more than willing to say what im doing now but this is just reality.

You Whities need to stick to the racism and conspiracy theories, there's a reason why your kind are driving trucks, mining coal or running around playing army and not found in research departments handling complicated data.

I have no idea. Is it true. In any case that's State finances. Not Germane here.

Exactly. That was a point I tried to make with an earlier post, but it fell on deaf ears. (Not yours, we are in agreement here.)

who signed the law getting rid of glass steagall?
But let's not forget it's the Congress not the President. Getting Rid of Glass Steagal was a thoropugly Republican effort, Gramm Leach Bliley. It was a few Democrats that opposed. They stood on the Senate floor and predicted exactly what would happen. And they were right! I do recognize that Clinton had to sign that must pass Omnibus Spending Bill that the Republicans had attached the Financial Modernization Act to (Just prior top the Christmas recess), otherwise the government would have been shut down. It was a "clever" maneuver by that asshole Phil Gramm, in the waning days of lame duck Clinton's presidency. Clinton has never been taken to task for signing. Never asked whether he was aware of what he was signing. We should ask him to justify.

P.S.
Have you seen that Firing line episode when Buckley went head to head with Chomsky. Chomsky never got invited back, though smug Buckley said he would. It was obvious why. It's on Youtube. Makes for fine entertainment some night when there is no NFL or Montreal Canadians game on. Go Habs!

I can tell you its true with 99% accuracy, The states with the worst fiscal situation are all blue thats just reality dude sorry.
