Economic Models Predict GOP Will Win White House No Matter Who The Nominee Is…

I read yesterday that one of the most important components of most of the election models is economic growth right before an election.

This is why having hard left economist Janet Yellen in the position she holds is invaluable to the democrats.
It's why the GOPe are such turncoats for giving the democrats anything they wanted in this years budget.
And finally, it's why having economic numbers that are determined by easily manipulated models by the bls and bea are also worth their weight in gold to an incumbent administration. We may be in a recession right now. But if we are, don't count on being informed of it until adjustments are made to the numbers following, oh, about the middle of november.

Agreed, it's becoming completely obvious. The problem with this strategy is that the "economic numbers" are so completely divorced with reality that the public hasn't bought into this "unicorn economy" at just about any stage. (Again, we have more "economic numbers" to suggest that they "approve" of the economy), but the popularity of Trump and Sanders has spoken volumes.

It's a win for Trump no matter what. If he wins he's the POTUS, good times for him and all his buddies. If Hillary wins it's great for Trump because essentially if he stayed out in the first place Republicans had it made, anybody could beat Democrats after 8 years of far leftist trash in office. If Hillary wins it's great for Trump and his buddies because she will owe it all to him. Moral of the story: be one of Trump's buddies...
