I've been trialing some ECN style brokers and trying to find one with good liquidity. One thing I have noticed as one would expect during large market moving announcements such as Retail sales today at 8:30 am the price spikes in one direction and then another, this spike can stop you into a position and back out again within seconds if you have tight stops around these times. I am trying to do comparisons of data from various brokers around these times.
If you have the low at 8:30 am 12-Jan could you post the value and your broker name.
